Would you call this "good luck" or "bad luck"??!!
BREAKING NEWS:
If a person should go the local A&P to grocery shop and they happen to be the MILLIONTH customer to walk through the door, all kinds of confetti and balloons will fall from the ceiling and the person may get pulled aside for some sort of prize like a big check, a car, or a shopping spree. What happens to the same person in Ohio that is sitting on death row right now waiting for the big day to roll around? Well, someone in Ohio is going to get lucky, or unlucky after tonight. As it stands, at 12:01 AM in just a few hours, that question will be answered when the 999th inmate will be put to rest forever. So, what will happen with the next lucky stiff in line? I say, the Governer of Ohio shouldn't speak a word about what number the next guy will be. Really build things up to the last minute...give the guy his last meal and let him talk to a Priest if he needs it, then take him for the long walk down the hall to the chair, let him say his last words and then pull the switch down. The lights could blink and there could be sparks BUT, unbeknownsdt to the guy strapped in, balloons and confetti could fall with the Governer coming out to turn on the lights and wish congratulations for being the 1,000 person to be seated in that chair in Ohio. Give the guy cake and punch and let him enjoy himself joking around with families of the people he's killed. Then, when he least expects it, pull the switch for real! I hope someone from Ohio reads this and passes this along to their Governer. Shoot, if 999 is such a big deal, what about 1,000? Hey, I'm not suggesting to let the guy go home as his "gift", make the guy feel special for a little while and then fry the S.O.B! Such a milestone should not be overlooked!
