Leave it to Hollywood to take a classic like "The Honeymooners", give it a black cast and try and re-do the whole thing and pass it off as being funny. The $64,000 question is who in the heck tarnation signed Cedric to a movie deal? Now I'm not against blacks in the movies but, I think even blacks would agree that Cedric isn't funny and nobody goes to see his movies. Some things are considered sacred and you just can't f*** with them. Jackie Gleason and Art Carney would go into a tizzy to see this flick hit the big screen...thank goodness they're dead. Why not an original movie? Let's see, you did a remake of "Can't Buy Me Love" and "National Lampoon's Vacation." They were so great that they went straight to Video/DVD after about a week's time! The original "Honeymooners" did just fine having the show revolve around Kramden's kitchen. No special effects or anything. Cedric ought to be ashamed of himself for messing with a good thing. He ain't that funny to begin with, but doing what he's doing just doesn't cut the mustard. Please go back to the "Wasssup" commercials for Budweiser.
