Remembering...Don Knotts and Dennis Weaver
I thought for sure that Andy Griffith was going to drop dead before Don Knotts. He made cameo appearances in his later years...long after Sherriff Taylor gave him a gun with no bullets. He had a number of films, including The Apple Dumpling Gang and The Incredible Mr. Lippett. In 1980, Knotts joined the cast of Three's Company taking the place of "The Ropers". Trademark scarf and all, he was a comedic genius on the show, despite the fact that Norman Fell And Audrey Landers wanted back in once their show The Ropers bit the dust! Don Knotts will be greatly missed. Dennis Weaver...One of the first movies I ever saw was Duel. Stephen Spielbergs first film. Weaver was in a race with a semi truck . He was also in the tv series, McCloud. Thanks guys for entertaining us!
