Let me tell you, someone needs to put this sorry display of athleticism to rest! All these troubled countries seem to always get first dibs on hosting this event and that brings me to Torino. Up until a few days ago, the only Torino I knew of was that cool car that "Starsky and Hutch" drove! That place is also home to that famous shroud that supposedly was worn by Jesus himself! I looked into some information regarding tourism over there...nothing! Nope. No Holiday Inn's or Motel 6. I imagine the people living there are opening their doors to not only the tourists, but the athletes as well. A big load of crap! The people that train for the Olympics basically, don't have a life. They train, work hard, say their prayers and eat their vitamins. Is it just me, or is the whole business a waste of time? Everything went downhill when they split up the summer and winter games. As it stands right now, I'll be avoiding the stations that carry that baloney. This may be short today however, THAT'S the way I see things today! -------- Squealing Pig WORLDWIDE!: It's time to turn off "life support" on the boring Olympics!
