Taking the expressway to your heart!
Katrina may be a few states away however, the damage is done in New Orleans. One Chicago couple chose not to stick around to see what will happen. They were willing to do anything to get the heck out of "The Big Easy" before the storm hit. The thing is, they couldn't get a flight, train or bus ride. These folks stood outside their Hotel and flagged down a limo driver, of which they gave a proposition. "How much to get to Chicago?" they asked. The driver responds..."If you're serious, I'll take you home for $3000." They took the bait, threw their crap in the trunk and they were on the way...er, so they thought. The first 100 miles took them 8 hours. Yes, they finally made it home and said they would do it all over again. I just love people that go looking for trouble while the people that live there are stuck. Then again, three G's ain't bad considering there's a bar in the back. Oh PULEEZE! Don't get me started. THAT'S the way I see it today!
