The guy who wraps himself in the flag and the 1st Amendment, doesn't like it when others speak! Posted by Hello Within the past several hours, I've learned that my name is being involved in a controversey in Chicago radio. You see, I used to be a big fan of Kevin Matthews when he was on "The Loop." He most recently was on WCKG after Howard Stern. When Kev's contract came up for renewal and 'CKG decided they didn't want to give him a raise, he packed up all his crap and quit. Kevin was getting really stale lately with his "Jim Shorts" alter ego and other stuff. He was always rambling on about hunting and fishing and Ted Nugent and going to Michigan...not too entertaining. I learned about Kev quitting in Robert Feder's column in the Sun-Times and wrote in and said pretty much what I said here. I didn't realize however, that my letter would appear in the April 7th column. Now my letter and the several others printed are the hot topic of conversation for not only Matthews, but now Steve Dahl and Mancow. I heard these idiots were reading these letters on the air and making fun of the people who wrote them. On Kevin Matthews website, there's a whole forum about this. Most people are upset that the letters were printed in the first place. I think the whole thing is funny. I can use the PR. When it comes to Mancow however, that's where I draw the line! If that jerk thinks he's going to rile me up by mentioning names and making fun of us, I'm not taking the bait. Mancow opens up his yapper on the subject in today's Sun-Times. He himself, can't decide who he wants on his team. You see, when Kev was up against Mancow for a while, Mancow thought HE was an idiot. Now, Mancow thinks poor Kev got a screw job. What a two faced bastard. As long as you're not competing for his listeners, he'll like you. When you're out of work now like Kev, all of a sudden you become Mancow's good friend. I wouldn't want to be friends with that ham and egger! I also hope that none of these guys call me and ask me what I was thinking by writing those letters. I'm not going on anyone's show period. I'm also not going to listen in on what Mancow has to say either. He's a punk and an asshole!
