And away we go! Big news out of Hollywood yesterday. It seems that we've seen the return of "Bennifer" to the spotlight. I guess Ben Affleck was getting tired of Tom Cruise getting all the press lately so, Affleck announced his secret wedding to Jen...not J-Lo, Jennifer "Alias" Garner. She's pregnant with his baby too. I don't know what's more of a story here, the fact that in less than a year he's gotten over Jennifer Lopez or the fact that this guy still makes the headlines despite the fact that every movie he makes is a stinker. Ben's bad luck tends to infect other people like herpes. BOTH Jennifer's haven't had any success with their movie careers either!

Two big stories this week from NASA. On July 4th a missle will be shot at an asteroid and break it into a million pieces kind of like the old Atari game. The mission is called "Deep Impact" and the hope is that it will be a success should an emergency like that ever come up. Hopefully it won't end in disaster as "Armageddon" did (insert Ben Affleck joke here), or "Deep Impact" the movie which had two things happen that made the story unrealistic: A giant Tsunami that hits New York and stops in Indiana, and a black man as President! ...Other BIG story is the space shuttle. There's only a few launches left before the next generation of space vehicles are built, so it's important they get the ball rolling again. Two years after Columbia exploded and millions of dollars later, the folks at NASA are still scratching their heads as to why things happened the way they did. They can't nail the exact problem. Inspectors have said that the shuttle sitting on the launch pad looks unsafe, but NASA is moving ahead with their launch regardless of the fact. They used to say that in 2000 we'd be living on the moon and walking on Mars...meanwhile, we can't even get off the ground without a tragedy! That's the way I see things this week and "Happy Friday!"
